Happy New Year!

I've decided that January was so pants that I'm simply cancelling it and as far as I'm concerned 2008 starts today. So happy new year to you all :o)

The past few weeks have been, erm, eventful ... It's not that I've been suffering from writer's block. I had plenty to say. I've just not been able to say any of it here. However, I'm back - woo hoo! Thanks for all the lovely comments, I've been very touched by them.

This weekend I'm heading up to stay with my parents so I'm hoping that I shall resume my blogging duties properly next week. Course wise I'm onto poetry which should cause you to fear and tremble. I may unleash my witterings on you. Then again I may decide they'd be more effective as weapons of mass destruction. In which case I shall offer them to the government. Death by rhyming could be the new attrocity in the twenty-first century.

Right, that's it for now. Let's anticipate a fantastic February full of fun and frollics. Oh dear, alliteration and cliché ... pity my poor tutor ...

Happy new year to you too! And of course, it's not January any more, so you can eat chocolate...

Welcome back. Even your poetry would be preferable to silence :-)

I love this idea. Happy New Year back to you. If I've ever lived through a worse January I can't remember it. So let's start fresh.

Come on, February!

Totally with you there Belle; January should be totally written off and slotted into history books as 'that horrendous month back in 2008'.

Very Happy New Year wishes to you too and a very warm welcome back. We did miss you lots :-)

1) i'm annoyed my reader-thingie didn't alert me to your new post. hence my lateness
2) we were on similar pages with the new year thing. i was revisiting my "new year" thoughts as well. :) :)

ha ha -- I'm ready to shoo January off, too. Those 15 (15!!!!!!) Christmas pounds were supposed to be gone in January, but they're not budging.
